Cut off will be 1:50 only , but reservation based , the people filed case against Appsc regarding 1:50 not in general , they are asking for reservation based , so that 49100 people will go for mains as. On Reservation based , then obviously cutoff will be reduced

Open cutoff will be high
Other categories will be less
BC — will be 75-80
SC — 65-70
St — 55-60
Like other categories will be cutoff reduced

Hai Kamu, you are mistaken…..if APAT gives judgment in favor of the case………reservations in group II screening test………….then APPSC has to revert back to 1:15 instead of 1:50 for this notification itself……..less than 15,000 candidates will only be selected for mains……………read the details of the case……….the case is against the GO………if APPSC loses they will have no option other than going back to 1:15……….anyhow future notifications APPSC stated they will go for 1:15 with reservations……this case is regarding Group II screening test………..

Write your own notes. Do not study everything just break into few parts…
Try to learn concepts. Do not follow any material all trash except your notes.

Now try to target topics like women. Minorities, backward classes , children, SCs and STs… Analyse how govt is supporting them and what are the schemes and problems. Don’t count on hours just make sure you study with atmost peace…if we concentrate, then I don’t think we need hours and hours. My best suggestion (I do the same) do not study for any exam no harm as u got exam dates and you are getting ready to give your best. Study for knowledge. When you know concept we will have confidence to face any twisted question. Now appsc changed their way of exams. They are doing great jobs and got great ppl in it now. So in my view mains won’t be that hard if we go by concept. But first we need to analyse and give marks to each and every topic. Like we can’t keep on study inm for days…we need to prioritise accordingly. Anyway pl post Ur email I will let you the rest.

Acc to my point of view paper is not that tough and not that easy as well. So candidates when they start the exam it will look ok good dead easy paper. But once they cross polity enter into economy it makes a bit worrisome. And more worrisome as questions go by. Again if we ask anyone they will say paper easy. There are twisty current affairs questions where one seems to know everything but when they bubble it will definitely go wrong. 4 in 10 times. So very said paper by APPSC. All credit goes to them and good work by APPSC.
Now coming to CUTTOFF ppl say 80 some say 95 some say 110. To be frank it’s hard to say. I want cut off to be near to 75 as most ppl will get chance to attempt mains.
Coming to reality I feel by questions and twisted answers definitely the cut off will be 85-90. It not true but just my opinion.
Not everyone will be able to crack and if they, they will be surprised to see their scores near 100…and that too hard working guys.

Group 2 is not just the end of the road. Let’s hope 70 will be cut off. To be frank no one knows the exact cut off. Let’s wait for results. Don’t loose hope just continue studying for mains. Will be useful for g1 and panchayat. Knowledge doesn’t have any boundaries.
So when you prepare pl do not go by material. Break syllabus into parts. For ex if you have to study about world organisations there are hundreds of them. Instead you can pick few like UN and white helmets. In the same way if you are studying polity then no need to Byehard articles. Just need to revise again and again. Cut may be between 70-80,because APPSC has to select about 50000 candidates as per notification ratio 1:50 for around 1000 posts.If Higher will be cutoff there is not much candidates qualified.As per notification there is no reservation in the prelims so the cutoff should be same for all categories

75 to 80 is the expected marks. And not only that movement will be anounce cut of marks based on reservation because it is the right of the constitution.
