Note: SSC MTS Exam Paper-I will consist of Objective Type Questions only. The questions will be set both in English & Hindi. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. Also Paper-II will be held only for such candidates who meet the cut-off prescribed by the Commission in Paper-I for different categories. However, the exam is scheduled to be held in the month of February 2024.
SSC Multitasking Staff Syllabus and Exam Pattern: The written examination for SSC MTS (Multitasking Staff) will consist of (Paper-I) objective type paper and (Paper-II) descriptive type.
Paper I
- General Intelligence and Reasoning : 25 Questions – 25 Marks
- Numerical Aptitude – 25 Questions – 25 marks
- General English – 50 marks
- General Awareness – 50 marks
The paper I will cover questions in the above four topics while the time frame for the multitasking staff exam is 2 hrs while for the Visually Handicapped candidates is 2hr 40 minutes.
Paper II: The paper-II will only be of qualifying nature. The time frame is of 30 minutes and the maximum marks is 50 marks
- Short Essay/Letter in English or any language included in the 8th schedule of the Constitution.
Generally, the Paper-II will be set in English and Hindi to test basic language skills. The candidates will be required to write one short essay/letter in English and Hindi each.They can opt to write the essay/letter in any Indian language listed in 8th Schedule of the Constitution in lieu of Hindi.
